German Military Helmet

The insignia on this helmet had the word “Koenig” an indicator that the wear was among a group of sharpshooters. The inscription reads “For God and Fatherland.” This helmet was given to Joe Nislar, a boy scout in 1916 for his sales of Liberty Bonds for World War I. The style of this helmet conveys power and demands respect.
